is advisable to wait until after the first class meeting to buy
supplies.

You
will be working in either oil or acrylic. If you have no preference,
then acrylic is recommended.

- Cadmium Yellow Medium
- Cadmium Yellow Light / Hansa / Lemon
- Magenta / Quin Red / Naphthol Crimson
- Cadmium Red Medium
- Ultramarine or Cobalt Blue
- Titanium White -- large tube
- Black

- Phtalo Blue

Medium -
Oils
· a prepared all-purpose painting medium (like Liquin)
· Turpenoid or other odorless solvent
· baby oil / Goop Hand cleaner
Acrylics
· Matte Medium
Other Supplies
· gesso (if using unprimed surfaces)
· bristle brushes: suggested sizes #10 #6 #4 "brights"
or "flats"
· large cheap paint brush (2 1/2") or sponge brush
· palette or disposable palettes or styrofoam plates
· jars with lids for turpentine, medium, etc.
· rags or paper towels
· surface to paint on: paper,cardboard, canvas panels, stretched
canvas, etc. minimum size 18"x24"
· box for supplies
· bar of hand soap or brush cleaner
· sketchbook
· pencils
· eraser
